Job Description

:
Operate and monitor chillers (water-cooled), AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, split ACs, and ventilation fans.
Maintain required temperature, humidity, and pressurization in sensitive areas like Operation Theatres, ICUs, Cath Labs, and Laboratories.
Inspect and service HVAC equipment, ducting, filters, dampers, and control panels.
Carry out preventive maintenance as per schedule for AHUs, chillers, pumps, motors, and controls.
Respond quickly to breakdown calls and restore systems with minimal downtime.
Check refrigerant levels, compressor performance, and carry out leak tests.
Ensure proper filtration, HEPA maintenance, and differential pressure monitoring.
Adhere to electrical and fire safety procedures during maintenance work.
Maintain logbooks of HVAC parameters (temperature, humidity, pressure).
Record preventive maintenance and breakdown history in CMMS/manual registers.
Report abnormal readings or repeated breakdowns to Maintenance Engineer.
Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, chilled water systems, and ventilation.
Ability to read HVAC drawings, duct layouts, and control wiring.
Hands-on troubleshooting skills in compressors, motors, pumps, and controls.
