Multi Skill Trainer - Electrical trains students in electrical installation, maintenance, safety, and repair work as per industry standards and sector skill council guidelines. The trainer ensures both theoretical and hands-on practical learning.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct theory and practical sessions on electrical systems, wiring, installation, and maintenance.
Train students on tools, equipment handling, and electrical safety procedures.
Teach topics like domestic & industrial wiring, motors, control panels, earthing, and troubleshooting.
Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and workshop demonstrations.
Ensure compliance with safety standards during practical sessions.
Assess trainees through practical tests, viva, and written assessments.
Maintain training records, attendance, and evaluation sheets.
Guide trainees on industry requirements, job roles, and workplace readiness.
Support placement activities by preparing students for technical interviews.
Maintain lab equipment, tools, and ensure proper functioning of machines.
### Key Skills Required
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems
Ability to teach wiring, panels, motors, and troubleshooting
Good communication & presentation skills
Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance
Knowledge of safety standards (earthing, load calculation, PPE use)
Classroom management & mentoring skills
Basic MS Office & reporting skills
Qualification
Diploma / ITI / Degree in Electrical Engineering
Certification from relevant Sector Skill Council preferred
Experience in electrical work or training is an added advantage
