Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate
Multi-Cuisine Chef
with expertise in
Chinese, Continental, and Cafe-style dishes
to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should be creative, efficient, and committed to delivering high-quality food consistently. This role requires hands-on experience in preparing a variety of dishes including noodles, pastas, burgers, sandwiches, mojitos, loaded fries, and quick snacks.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes from Chinese and Continental cuisines (e.g., noodles, fried rice, pasta, grilled meats, sauces, etc.).
Create and assemble popular cafe-style dishes such as burgers, sandwiches, wraps, loaded fries, mojitos, milkshakes, and light snacks.
Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes or seasonal specials.
Ensure kitchen hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards are always maintained.
Manage inventory, portion control, and minimize wastage.
Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely and efficient food preparation.
Stay updated with culinary trends and bring innovative ideas to the table.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant, cafe, or hotel setting.
Expertise in Chinese and Continental cooking techniques and recipes.
Ability to prepare fast-moving cafe-style menu items efficiently.
Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Creativity and passion for food.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Culinary diploma or certification (preferred but not mandatory).
Preferred Qualities:
Fast-paced kitchen experience.
Good time management under pressure.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new dishes or styles.
