About the department

Global Commercial Solutions- The position is based in Commercial IT India - an area with 100+ employees closely working with colleagues across 7 Regions in International Operations and in North America Operations, within Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical and other Commercial functions.

The position

The position holder is responsible for identify, analyse, and develop interfaces, API's and integration flows using MuleSoft Anypoint platform including Mule Runtime, Connectors, Design Center and API management. As a Platform SME ensure MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (MAP) is running smooth and support projects with development of API's on MuleSoft and help troubleshoot issues and provide inputs to Design, development, documentation best practices and guidelines.

The position holder is responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by developers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementation and day to day operations. Also, Knowledge of Integration Design patterns for building middleware systems from the ground up using Message Routing, Content Enrichment, Message Filtering, Message Transformation, Guaranteed Delivery, Message Sequencing, Batch Message processing, error handling and reconciliation mechanisms

Qualifications

• Master's degree, bachelor degree or similar graduate degree in relevant field (Software Engineering or Computer Science) and relevant business experience
• 6+ years of experience in a software engineering or developer role in areas such as API development, Integration solutions, webservices etc.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft development and analysis, including CloudHub, API Management, and DataWeave
• Coding experience in contemporary back-end languages such as C#, Java, Python etc.
• Proficiency in developing RESTful webservices Experience building integrations between common business applications such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, ERP etc.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork effectiveness in a fast-paced, corporate environment
• Experience working in an Agile Setup, understanding of SCRUM framework
• Experience working with Azure DevOps including CI/CD setup, GIT, Maven etc.
• Good knowledge of SOA and fluency in web service standards such as WSSE and technologies (XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, REST) is a must
• Experience working with other Integration platforms is a plus
• Troubleshooting & problem-solving skills
