Job Description

Design, develop, and deploy complex integration workflows (orchestrations) and APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio.


Create and configure APIs and integrations connecting to single/multiple systems that act as passthrough, require complex transformations, or implement business logic.


Manage APIs using MuleSofts API Manager and other tools.


Collaborating with Stakeholders/Clients/Other Teams to understand integration needs.


Use DataWeave to perform complex and robust data transformations within the integration flows.


Create design documentation for integration workflows and APIs, including sequence diagrams, data mapping, and deployment models.


Troubleshoot issues with the integrations and workflows with downstream teams, upstream teams, network teams, and Infra teams.


Identify root causes for issues and propose long term solutions.


Developing and documenting reusable APIs for common functionalities such as error handling, logging, authentication, and email notifications.


Implementing API design best practices (e.g., RESTful API design, versioning, documentation).


Implementing security measures such as OAuth 2.0, JWT authentication, and SSL/TLS encryption for APIs and applications.




QUALIFICATIONS


Must be able to contribute to self-organizing teams with minimal supervision working within the Agile / Scrum project methodology.


Bachelors Degree in Computer science or related field.


5+ years of related information technology/engineering experience.


2/3 years of strong experience building APIs (Rest and SOAP), integration workflows, and complex data transformations.


Issue Management - Root cause analysis and solution proposition.


Change Management - help create deployment plans with multiple teams.


Strong understanding of Anypoint Studio and API Manager.


Experience with Version Control Systems.


Demonstrated experience with the Scrum Agile methodology.


Strong ability to learn new technologies in a short time.


Must possess well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
