AMD together we advance_ MTS SOFTWARE SYSTEM DESIGN ENGINEER THE PERSON: (soft skills) The person should have hunger for understanding newer technologies and willing to take the untrodden path. The candidate should be able to work independently and also guide the team (as needed). The candidate should be able to communicate (both oral and written) and put across his ideas effectively. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with the stakeholders to gather and understand the testing requirements, define a test plan/strategy and responsible for the execution of the test plans Domain expert who can develop/use test tools, automation scripts and frameworks for product testing and drive process initiatives, understand customer use case and configurations Be a technical mentor and leader for the team and independently drive tasks to closure by possessing strong debugging & troubleshooting skills Design and Develop test cases for new or existing features in a product, extract test cases from bug reports Responsible for the installation and maintenance of the test harness/environment on various platforms Analyze and validate tests results- create reports of bug failures, validate bug fixes, follow up with stakeholders to ensure closure of bug reports, participate in debug and triage activities PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Strong expertise in python scripting language (e.g. Perl, python) Strong expertise of high-level languages i.e. C/C++ Good knowledge of the product development lifecycle and system test process and exposure to SDLC Working knowledge of Linux and Windows OS Good understanding of thread concepts, OpenMP and other parallel API interfaces is an added advantage Working knowledge on TensorFlow and PyTorch will be added advantage ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Master\'s/Bachelor\'s Degree in Electronics/Computer Science or equivalent stream with 12+ years of experience in software testing LOCATION: Bangalore #LI-SR1 Benefits offered are described: .
