The MTS (Technical) staff will assist in day-to-day technical, maintenance, and operational activities at the Joyville Project. The role involves supporting engineering teams, conducting routine checks, performing basic technical tasks, assisting senior technicians, and ensuring smooth functioning of all site operations.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Technical Support
Assist in routine maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, and civil infrastructure.
Support technicians and engineers in troubleshooting equipment issues.
Help in installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment as directed.
B. Site Operations
Conduct daily inspections of common areas, utilities, equipment rooms, and service areas.
Report defects, breakdowns, and safety hazards to the reporting authority.
Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely stored.
C. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily logbooks for maintenance work, equipment status, and inspections.
Assist in preparing basic reports on maintenance activities and material usage.
Participate in maintaining inventory of tools, spares, and consumables.
D. Safety & Compliance
Follow all safety protocols while performing technical tasks.
Use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
Report unsafe practices or conditions immediately.
Ensure compliance with project site operation standards.
3. Skills & Competencies
Basic technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or civil systems.
Ability to use hand tools, measuring instruments, and basic machinery.
Good observation and problem-identification skills.
Ability to work under supervision and follow instructions.
Physically fit and able to perform field duties.
4. Qualifications
Minimum: ITI / Diploma (Electrical/Mechanical/Fitter/Relevant Trade).
Experience: 0-3 years in technical/maintenance work (construction, residential, or project site preferred).
5. Working Conditions
Job involves fieldwork at the project site.
May require rotational shifts based on project requirements.
Must be ready for emergency maintenance calls when required.
6. Reporting Structure
Reports to: Site Engineer / Technical Supervisor / Facility Manager
7. Additional Requirements
Basic understanding of safety procedures and emergency response.
Willingness to learn and upgrade technical skills.
Discipline, punctuality, and teamwork attitude.
