Roles & Responsibilities:

• Key performance Indicators
• Respect of ALSTOM rules, values (AIR) and process
• Reporting is accurate and on time
• QCD is as per WP commitment

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Prior experience in deployment or as an interface engineer.
• Basic knowledge on signalling
• Should be able to write Requirement specifications, architecture and interface as per project requirements
• Hands on designing, configuring and deploying Maintenance servers to interface with various subsystems.
• Handle technical discussion with other system leaders on interface protocols like OPC UA, SNMP, Webservices etc.
• Basic knowledge on Linux configuration, shell scripting, RDBMS, MySQL, Web Services
• Good analytical skills for understanding client specification relate to products/process and should have produced system architecture
• Knowledgeable in Quality practices and relevant standards
• Should be able to work independently on projects and willing to travel manage and customer and project stake holder expectation for MSS solutions

Desired Skills:

• IT Skills preferred: Microsoft office, AutoCAD, basic Knowledge on Linux and SQL, SNM

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
MSS/DMS Engineer will be responsible for preparing the Design documents ( specification, architecture, HW Spec etc.) for a typical Maintenance System of Alstom.
He/She should interface with other system leaders to finalise the data to be received from other systems to MSS/DMS.
The individual should manage deployment activities like Configuration and deployment of software package in site Server and prepare project specific data for interfaces.
Perform a local test and provide reports before delivering the data to revenue system.
Attend technical discussion with customers and provide training to the customer during commissioning of the MSS/DMS system.
