Your team responsibilities:

- The team is responsible for all aspects of research for MSCI Fixed Income indexes including understanding client index needs, designing new indexes, speaking to clients and explaining indexing decisions, rebalancing the indexes and making sure that the quality and accuracy of our index data is of the highest quality.

Your key responsibilities:

- Serve as a source for client base methodological and research-based queries. This is not an operational role.

- Play a key part in expansion and maintenance of MSCI\'s fixed income index offering.

- You will assist senior members of the Fixed Income team build client-driven and proprietary index strategies and help with implementing and back-testing the same.

- You will help maintain MSCI\'s Fixed Income suite of indexes, ensuring they meet their methodology objective, are rebalanced accurately, and you will perform research as needed.

- Your primary responsibilities will include - ensuring the accuracy of indexes, new index requests, index change requests, client requests, rebalancing, automation and projects.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel:

- 1-2 years direct or financial industry experience.

- Excellent English Communication Skills, verbal and written.

- Knowledge and familiarity in at least one of these programming languages: Python and SQL is necessary.

- Good quantitative knowledge and analytical skills.

- Experience with fixed income or index investing and construction is a plus.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight, short-term deadlines.

- A self-starter and highly motivated individual, with the ability to work individually and within a team.
