Core Responsibilities

Education and Instruction:

Deliver lectures, conduct practical training sessions, and facilitate workshops and simulations on various nursing subjects and procedures.

Curriculum Development:

Develop, update, and implement educational materials and programs (e.g., orientation, continuing education, specialty training) that align with institutional and regulatory standards.

Clinical Supervision:

Supervise and mentor students or new hires during their clinical placements and hands-on practice in hospital wards and other healthcare settings.

Performance Assessment:

Evaluate student and staff performance through tests, assignments, practical skills assessments, and provide constructive feedback for professional growth.

Mentorship and Support:

Provide individualized academic and career guidance, fostering a positive learning environment and promoting professional development.

Collaboration and Coordination:

Work with academic faculty, clinical coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to align training with hospital goals and ensure cohesive education.

Documentation and Compliance:

Maintain accurate training records and ensure that all educational practices adhere to accreditation standards and legal requirements (e.g., INC norms).

Continuous Improvement:

Stay current with the latest advancements in medical practices and incorporate them into training programs to ensure content remains relevant and evidence-based.

Research (in academic settings):

Participate in research activities and utilize findings to improve educational programs and clinical practice.

Clinical Expertise:

A deep understanding of medical procedures, patient care techniques, and the latest healthcare technology.

Instructional Skills:

Ability to develop lesson plans, use various teaching methods (lectures, demonstrations, e-learning), and engage effectively with diverse learners.
