We are looking for a passionate

MS SQL Server Developer

to be part of our team and own critical data infrastructure. This role offers an opportunity to build, maintain, and optimize robust database systems, while collaborating across functions.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server database schemas, tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, and functions Optimize queries for performance, manage indexing strategies, and fine-tune database performance Implement and maintain database backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery plans Monitor database health, usage, space and performance, and proactively troubleshoot issues Automate recurring database tasks (scripts, jobs, alerts) Collaborate with application developers, data engineers, BI/analytics teams to ensure smooth data integration Assist in data migration, ETL processes, and database upgrades Ensure data security, access control, and adherence to compliance/data governance practices Maintain documentation of database architecture, standards, processes, and code reviews Support environment synchronization across development, staging, and production

What We Expect / Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of hands-on experience in MS SQL Server development and administration Proficiency in T-SQL, query optimization, indexing, stored procedures, and functions Strong understanding of relational database theory, normalization / denormalization, and data modeling Experience in performance tuning, database profiling, usage of tools like execution plans, monitors Familiarity with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, or shell scripts) Knowledge of version control (Git) and working with CI/CD pipelines for database deployments Exposure to cloud database solutions (Azure SQL or equivalent) Experience in ETL / data migration and integration Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills Ability to work remotely, independently, and in a distributed team
