Job Description

We are seeking a Trade Finance Business Analyst with 3-5 years of strong domain experience to support business, operations, and technology teams across the full trade lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have handson exposure to core trade finance products and be able to translate complex business processes into clear, actionable documentation for solution design and delivery.

? Engage with business and operations stakeholders to understand trade finance requirements and define functional needs.

? Analyze and document endtoend trade workflows, including processing, settlement, compliance checks, and exception handling.

? Prepare highquality Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, Process Maps, and User Stories.

? Support technology teams during solution design, development, testing, and UAT to ensure alignment with business expectations.

? Collaborate with operations teams to streamline processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements across the trade lifecycle.

? Facilitate issue triage and resolution by liaising with product teams, operations, and IT.

? Contribute to training materials, SOP updates, and business readiness activities.



Required Skills 366 Experience

? 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst within the Trade Finance domain.

? Strong understanding of core trade finance products, including:

o Letters of Credit (Import 366 Export)

o Documentary Collections

o Bank Guarantees / Standby LCs

o Trade Loans / Supply Chain Finance



? Proven ability to translate complex trade processes into clear functional requirements and workflow documentation.

? Familiarity with trade operations, SWIFT message flows (e.g., MT7xx series), compliance checks, and trade document handling.

? Experience creating process flows using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent.

? Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams (IT, Operations, Product, Compliance).

? Detail-oriented, structured thinker with strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities.



Good-to-Have Skills

? Exposure to trade finance platforms (e.g., Finastra Trade Innovation, Oracle Banking, Surecomp, etc.).

? Understanding of Regulatory/Compliance frameworks relating to trade, sanctions screening, and AML.

? Experience working in Agile environments and supporting sprint planning, refinement, and backlog grooming.
