Responsibilities
As a result of continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SQL Developer, with SSRS/SSAS/SSIS as primary skills, as Microsoft BI Developer, to join our global team, to develop, maintain, administer the enterprise workflows, integrations and transformations., and to provide support for line of business applications developed internally or from 3rd party applications IQEQ currently using.
The MS BI developer is required to be able to work with various internal teams, stake holders, business analysts and technical teams to help build, modify, validate, troubleshoot data requirements including stored procedures, functions, views for data analysis and reporting.
Relationship building with stakeholders across business and IT department will be essential, as will understanding pain points and devising solutions, ultimately leading to a deep technical knowledge of the platforms used and input into the development roadmap and driving best practices.
You will need to have experience working in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise tasks that contribute to the delivery of project workstreams, BAU activities, and response to incidents.
You will have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues based around the globe and across many technology functions.
You will be tenacious and passionate, with the ability to take ownership of tasks whilst managing your time effectively, and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.

Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)
Design, develop and maintain ETL workflows, SSIS/SSRS/SSAS applications for data integration, transformations, writing efficient and optimized SQL queries.
Build proof of concept prototypes based on requirement documentation.
Participate in discussions regarding requirements, designing the application with users and team members.
Provide effort estimates for a given requirement and able to explain requirements.
Work both as an individual contributor and team player.
Review the development, coding standards, and be aware of application change management processes to ensure compliance within releases.
Perform data profiling, validation, troubleshooting of data issues across multiple data sources, maintain proper documentation for processes, workflows and solutions delivered.
Should be able to design the target architecture for new solutions or when adding any new capabilities to existing solutions.

Qualifications Required Experience Education / professional qualifications
Graduate degree, preferably in IT related disciplines
Background experience
With 10 years of overall IT experience and at least 6 years of working experience on developing applications using SSRS, SSIS and SSAS especially with overall expertise in MS BI stack.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server (T-SQL, PL/SQL) including query optimizations and performance tuning.
Experience in data accuracy, consistency and reliability through rigorous testing and validations.
Create and maintain SQL Server Integration Services packages for data integration and workflow automations.
Experience in optimizing SSIS packages for performance and scalability.
Experience in implementing multi-dimensional and tabular models for SQL Server Analysis services (SSAS).
Expertise in designing, creating reports using SSRS, customizing and enhancing reports to meet business requirements.
Experience in developing, optimizing T-SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulations, ensuring data performance and integrity.
Knowledge in implementing and maintaining security measures for databases and BI solutions, ensuring compliance with data governance and privacy standards.
Hands on experience in .NET, Python and PowerShell scripting.
Familiarity with collaboration tools and version control systems is an added advantage.
Strong working experience on Azure architectures is a benefit (ADF, ADB, PySpark, Cloud storages etc)
