Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Proficiency:
Skill in operating MRI machines and understanding human anatomy.
Patient Communication:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex information clearly and address patient concerns.
Attention to Detail:
Meticulousness in performing scans, reviewing images, and maintaining records.
Analytical Skills:
The ability to analyze patient histories and recognize any abnormalities in the images.
Knowledge of Protocols:
Strict adherence to safety protocols and clinical guidelines to maintain a secure environment.
Equipment Operation:
Operate the MRI scanner and associated software, selecting correct settings and imaging parameters for optimal image quality.
Image Acquisition:
Position patients and equipment accurately to capture clear, high-quality diagnostic images.
Image Quality Assurance:
Review images for clarity and completeness, and consult with radiologists to determine if additional scans are needed.
Contrast Administration:
Administer contrast agents, such as an IV of dye, to enhance image clarity when required.
Equipment Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections of the MRI equipment and schedule maintenance or repairs as needed.
Documentation & Records:
Maintain accurate patient records, log scan results, and complete any necessary paperwork.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare providers to discuss findings and ensure proper procedure.
Qualification:
BSC from approved universities
