:

• Patient care and safety:

• Take patient medical histories and answer questions about the procedure.
• Position patients correctly for scans and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Implement and follow all safety protocols, including those related to radiation and magnetic fields.
• Administer contrast agents and monitor patients during procedures.

• Equipment operation and maintenance:

• Operate and calibrate MRI and CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Evaluate images for clarity and completeness to meet the ordering provider's requirements.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Documentation and collaboration:

• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and assist with diagnosis.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow in the imaging department.

• Professional development:

• Stay current with advancements in imaging technology through continuing education and training.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
