Job Description

Qualification:

Graduate / Diploma in MRD

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in Medical Records Department in a hospital setup

Oversee the overall functioning of the Medical Records Department (MRD). Maintains patient files and retrieves files for scheduled appointments; files study patient charts; files all patient data upon receipt of information; initiates records for new patients and creates computer index; prepares file labels; maintains filing statistics; audits filing sequence Supervise the process of discharge summary completeness, filing, and coding Preservation of medical record as per statutory Norm Co-operation with all other departments in the matter of records Maintain Indicators as per policy May photocopy records and documents for billing and/or legal services; sends and receives information via facsimile machine Keeps supervisor informed of problems or issues; monitors supplies needed; performs other duties as assigned Participation in educational and training programs organized within and outside hospitals Handle medico-legal case documentation All Documentation and Work related to Quality Systems(NABH Guidelines)

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
