The

Manager - Quality Systems & Compliance

is responsible for

maintaining a strong, effective, and continuously improving Quality Management System (QMS)

across the organization. The role ensures

all system certifications are achieved, renewed, and maintained without lapses

, including ISO/IATF and customer-specific OEM audits. This position is the

Management Representative (MR)

and ensures full compliance with statutory, customer, and industry standards.

KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE (VERY IMPORTANT)"To maintain a strong QMS policy, ensure 100% compliance, and complete all required certifications on time without failure." Roles & Responsibilities (Revised with Emphasis on QMS & Certifications)1. QMS Development & Strengthening



Maintain a

robust QMS policy

across all departments. Ensure 100% implementation of QMS procedures, work instructions, formats, KPIs. Conduct periodic QMS performance reviews with top management. Update QMS documents as per ISO/IATF requirements.

2. Certification Management (Core Responsibility)



Lead and complete all system certifications such as:

ISO 9001

IATF 16949

ISO 14001 / ISO 45001

(if applicable) Coordinate certification, recertification, and surveillance audits. Ensure

zero lapse in certificate validity

. Prepare all documentation required for certification bodies. Implement corrective actions and maintain compliance records.

3. Internal & External Audit Management



Plan and execute Internal QMS Audits. Coordinate external audits (ISO/IATF, OEM customer audits). Close NCRs, OFIs, and observations on time with strong CAPA. Maintain audit calendar, audit reports, and tracking systems.

4. OEM Customer Coordination



Act as single point of contact for OEM customers regarding quality system compliance. Handle customer audits, system reviews, visit preparations, and requirements. Provide documentation support like APQP, PPAP (system-related).

5. Documentation & Record Control



Maintain QMS Manual, Quality Policy, Procedures, Formats, and Records. Ensure version control, approval, and secure documentation practices. Implement Document Control System (DCS) effectively.

6. Continuous Improvement in Systems



Improve QMS maturity level year-on-year. Conduct root cause analysis for system gaps. Lead Kaizen, SOP improvements, and process standardization projects.

7. Training & Awareness



Train employees on QMS, ISO/IATF requirements, and documentation. Develop internal auditor competence.

? Required Skills & ExperienceEducation



BE/B.Tech or Diploma with strong QMS experience.

Experience



15 - 25 years in QMS, certifications, or system audits. Strong experience handling

ISO 9001 / IATF

is MUST.

Technical Skills



ISO 9001, IATF 16949 APQP/PPAP (system level) Documentation control Internal audit & NCR closure Certification process handling experience (mandatory)

Soft Skills



Strong follow-up and coordination Excellent documentation and presentation skills Good communication for OEM interactions System-oriented mindset
