Graduation (Preferred in Film Editing, Visual Communication, or Multimedia)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and creative Movie Editor Trainer to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of film editing tools and techniques, and a passion for teaching aspiring editors. You will be responsible for delivering hands-on training, developing course content, and mentoring students in professional video editing.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct classroom and practical training sessions in video/movie editing.
Teach software tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and others.
Develop and regularly update training materials, projects, and assessments.
Guide students in real-time editing projects and provide constructive feedback.
Evaluate trainees' progress and performance through assignments and tests.
Stay updated with current trends, techniques, and technologies in film editing.
Create a supportive learning environment and mentor students toward industry readiness.
Required Skills:
2 8 years of hands-on experience in film or video editing.
Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
Strong understanding of visual storytelling, transitions, pacing, color grading, and audio syncing.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Previous experience as a trainer or mentor is a plus.
Ability to inspire, guide, and motivate learners.
Preferred:
Background in teaching/training at film schools or media institutes.
Experience working in the Telugu, Hindi, or South Indian film industries.
A showreel of previous editing work or training sessions.
