ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Responsible for fitting and dispensing spectacle lens according to written optical prescription


2.Verify parameters of finished lens spectacles as per prescription.


3.May shape or reshape frames.


4.Adjust frame and lens position to suit client requirement.


5.Keep record of fittings received and completed with key parameters.


6.Achieve target of daily fitting qty as per standard.


7.Do daily basic maintenance of fitting machine


8.Clean and maintain the fitting area after work done


9.Keep inventory of consumables and tools require for fitting, & ordering of same.

The Fitter is responsible for accurately fitting and dispensing spectacle lenses as per optical prescriptions while ensuring quality and precision. The role includes verifying lens parameters, shaping or adjusting frames, and customizing fittings to meet client needs. In addition, the Fitter maintains records of completed work, achieves daily fitting targets, carries out basic machine upkeep, ensures cleanliness of the work area, and manages consumables and tool inventory for uninterrupted operations.



Minimum: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related trade Preferred: Certification in Optical Fitting / Lens Technology * Basic knowledge of optical prescriptions and lens fitting process will be an added advantage
