Job Description

Diagnostics:

Examine vehicles to determine the cause of malfunctions in systems like the engine, transmission, brakes, steering, and electrical systems.

Repair and maintenance:

Perform repairs and routine maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engine tuning, rewiring ignition systems, and repairing transmissions.

Vehicle inspection:

Conduct thorough inspections for damage, wear, and tear on components such as hoses, belts, and trim.

Tool and equipment use:

Utilize a variety of diagnostic tools and special service equipment to test and repair components.

Documentation:

Clearly document all work performed on the repair order.

Test driving:

Road test vehicles to diagnose issues and confirm that repairs have been completed correctly.
