Disassembly and Inspection:
Dismantling electric motors (AC and DC) to identify the cause of failure, inspecting components for damage, and assessing the extent of repairs needed.
Rewinding:
Winding new coils for armatures, stators, and rotors using appropriate techniques and materials.
Component Replacement:
Replacing damaged or worn-out parts like coils, insulation, bearings, and other motor components.
Varnishing, Baking, and Testing:
Applying varnish to protect the windings, baking the motor to cure the varnish, and conducting tests to ensure proper performance and safety.
Testing and Quality Control:
Utilizing various testing equipment (e.g., insulation testers, growlers, resistance bridges) to verify the functionality and safety of the rewound motor.
Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including materials used, test results, and any necessary adjustments.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
