Motion Design Intern

at

Hawk Aerospace

would likely be expected to contribute to a range of design projects, with a particular focus on motion graphics, animation, and visual effects for aerospace-related media.

Key Responsibilities

:

Create Motion Graphics and Animations

: Assist in the creation of visually engaging animations for various aerospace projects. Support the design team in developing motion graphics for marketing materials, presentations, and digital platforms. Help with the animation of complex aerospace concepts, products, or systems to convey technical details in a clear, compelling way.

Collaborate with Designers & Engineers

: Work closely with senior motion designers and engineers to understand technical specifications and integrate them into creative designs. Participate in brainstorming sessions, offering creative input for both technical animations and more artistic design projects.

Video Editing and Post-Production

: Edit and refine raw footage to incorporate motion design elements like transitions, text overlays, and animations. Use industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D) to create polished final products.

Asset Creation & Management

: Create and maintain design assets such as logos, illustrations, and other visuals used in motion projects. Ensure all assets are organized properly for efficient workflow within the design team.

Support Marketing and Branding

: Help create motion graphics that align with the Hawk Aerospace branding guidelines. Assist in the creation of promotional videos, explainer videos, and social media content.

Learning and Development

: Gain experience with industry-standard software and motion design techniques under the guidance of experienced designers. Stay up-to-date with design trends and innovations, particularly those relevant to aerospace technology.

Requirements

:

Education

: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a graphic design, animation, or related program.

Skills

: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.). Experience with 3D animation software (Cinema 4D, Blender, etc.) is a plus. Strong design sense, attention to detail, and creativity. Basic knowledge of typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.

Soft Skills

: Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques.

Desirable Qualifications

:

Interest or background in aerospace technology and motion graphics within technical fields. Experience with rendering, compositing, and other post-production processes. Portfolio showcasing motion design projects or animations.
