Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing

Mother Teacher

capable of managing

Pre-Primary I (PPI), Pre-Primary II (PP2), and Grade 1

students across all subjects. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, skilled in holistic teaching approaches, and capable of building strong, positive relationships with young learners and their parents.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct engaging lessons

in all core subjects including English, Mathematics, Environmental Science, and foundational literacy/numeracy. Use a

mother teacher approach

to foster emotional and academic development, ensuring a safe and welcoming classroom environment.

Develop age-appropriate teaching materials

and learning aids to support curriculum goals. Monitor and

track individual student progress

, addressing learning needs with differentiated instruction. Promote

social and emotional learning

, encouraging positive behavior and interpersonal skills. Maintain open and regular

communication with parents

, including PTMs and daily updates as needed. Collaborate with fellow educators and school leadership for

curriculum planning and event participation

. Uphold school policies and maintain accurate student records, portfolios, and assessments.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Education / ECCE Certification or equivalent (NTT / Montessori / B.Ed.) Proven experience in teaching pre-primary or early primary grades. Excellent

classroom management

and

child engagement

skills. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English. Creativity, patience, and adaptability in dealing with young children. Familiarity with

play-based learning

and

interactive teaching techniques

.

Preferred:

Experience in CBSE/ICSE or equivalent curriculum. Ability to integrate technology and audio-visual tools into lessons. Training in child psychology or inclusive education is a plus.
