Job Overview

The Mother Teacher Grades 2?3 is responsible for nurturing and educating students in Grade 2 and Grade 3, creating a caring, supportive, and stimulating environment in line with Kothari International School's values. This role involves facilitating holistic development -- academic, emotional, social, and creative -- through well?planned lessons, differentiated instruction, and close parent?teacher collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Teaching & Learning

Plan, prepare, and implement daily lesson plans in subjects such as English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies / Science, Social Studies, and other required subjects, aligned with the school's curriculum. Use a variety of teaching methodologies (interactive, inquiry?based learning, hands?on activities) to engage students and cater to diverse learning styles. Differentiate instruction to meet needs of students who may be above standard, at standard, or needing extra support

Classroom Management & Environment

Maintain an organized, safe, and stimulating classroom environment with suitable displays, learning resources, and materials. Integrate technology and teaching aids where appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or equivalent from a recognized institution. (Candidates pursuing B.Ed may be considered, depending on experience and school policy.) At least

2 years of experience

teaching Grades 1?3 or similar early primary grades. (Preferably in CBSE or comparable curriculum.) Strong command of English; proficiency in local / regional language(s) may be helpful.
