Mother Teacher - Primary Section

Location:

Indrayani Nagar, Bhosari, Pune

Job Summary:

The Mother Teacher is responsible for nurturing young learners in the primary section . Acting as a bridge between students, parents, and the school, the Mother Teacher plays a crucial role in developing the child's overall personality and academic foundation in a warm, supportive, and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the

single point of contact

for students and parents of the assigned class. Teach

core subjects

(typically English, Mathematics, EVS, and Life Skills). Create a

safe and nurturing classroom environment

that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth. Develop and implement

age-appropriate lesson plans

aligned with the curriculum. Monitor student progress and provide

individual attention

to support diverse learning needs. Conduct

formative and summative assessments

and maintain detailed student records. Communicate regularly with parents through

PTMs

, phone calls, and written updates. Collaborate with co-teachers, subject teachers, and school management for planning and events. Inculcate

values, discipline, and etiquette

among students. Organize and participate in

co-curricular and extracurricular activities

. Maintain classroom hygiene and discipline, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree (preferably B.Ed or equivalent). Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience in primary/early years education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English (spoken and written). Patience, empathy, and a child-centric approach. Familiarity with modern teaching methods and classroom technologies.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
