Role Overview:

The Mother Teacher will serve as the primary educator and caretaker for Grade 2 students, ensuring their academic, emotional, and social development. The role requires nurturing guidance, effective teaching across multiple subjects, and building a strong connection between the school and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach all core subjects (English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, etc.) as per the curriculum. Create a positive, child-friendly, and stimulating classroom environment. Address the academic as well as emotional and social needs of each student. Foster values such as discipline, respect, responsibility, and teamwork. Assess students' progress through classwork, assignments, and tests; maintain records and prepare progress reports. Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support when necessary. Communicate regularly with parents to update them on their child's progress and overall well-being. Plan creative activities, projects, and events to make learning engaging and holistic. Ensure students' safety, well-being, and discipline during school hours. Collaborate with co-teachers and school staff for academic planning and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. / B.El.Ed.) or equivalent. Experience in teaching primary classes, preferably as a mother teacher. Strong command over English and other required subjects. Warm, caring, and approachable personality with patience and empathy. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Ability to balance academics with students' emotional and social development.

Pay: ?21,000.00 - ?23,000.00 per month
