Mother teacher- Gr 1 & 2

Subject: Vacancy for Primary teachers - Amethyst International School

Dear Candidates,

Amethyst International School is looking for a passionate and responsible Mother Teacher

to guide and mentor students in the Primary Section. The role involves teaching core subjects,

managing classroom routines, and serving as the primary point of contact between students,

parents, and the school.

Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor's degree (B.Ed. preferred). Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in CBSE schools (Primary level). Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to mentor students and build strong parent-teacher relationships. Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Key Responsibilities:

Teach core subjects (English, Math, EVS, etc.) as per CBSE curriculum. Maintain daily classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment. Monitor student progress and provide individualized support where needed. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and well-being. Organize and supervise co-curricular activities and class events. Collaborate with other teachers and coordinators for curriculum planning. Uphold school values of dignity, accountability, and inclusivity.
Location: Ottiyambakkam, Chennai

Salary: Rs.18,000 to 20,000 / per month based on experience and expertise
