Job Summary

The Mother Teacher is responsible for nurturing, guiding, and teaching young children in a safe, caring, and structured classroom environment. She acts as both an educator and a caregiver, supporting students' academic, emotional, and social development while maintaining close communication with parents.

Key Responsibilities

Create a warm, safe, and supportive classroom atmosphere for young learners Teach basic academic skills (literacy, numeracy, environmental studies) as per the curriculum Support students' emotional, social, and moral development Supervise children during class, activities, breaks, and transitions Encourage good habits, discipline, and positive behavior Identify individual learning needs and provide additional support where required Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and displays Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress, behavior, and well-being Maintain attendance records, student files, and basic assessments Participate in school meetings, events, and professional development programs

Required Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education / Primary Education (preferred) Relevant teaching experience in preschool or primary classes is an advantage Basic knowledge of child psychology and classroom management
