Key Responsibilities
Perform
Due Diligence (DD) underwriting
for US Residential Mortgage loan files
Analyze borrower profiles based on
Credit, Capacity, Capital, and Collateral (4Cs)
Review and evaluate income, assets, liabilities, credit reports, and property documents
Ensure compliance with
FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and investor guidelines
Identify, document, and clear underwriting conditions efficiently
Maintain high accuracy, quality, and turnaround time (TAT) standards
Communicate effectively with processors, quality teams, and stakeholders
Handle multiple loan files simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Required Skills & Qualifications
6 months to 3+ years of experience in
US Mortgage Underwriting / Due Diligence
Strong knowledge of
US Residential Mortgage underwriting guidelines
Hands-on experience with
4Cs analysis
Familiarity with AUS findings (DU / LP)
Good understanding of credit reports, income calculations, and asset validation
Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
WFH or hybrid mortgage operations
Exposure to quality control or investor review processes
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
