Mortgage Compliance and QA Specialist assist with researching and reviewing forms, disclosures, and other documents to validate information and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to ECOA, HMDA, Regulation B, TRID and RESPA. Duties include compiling appropriate information for reporting purposes and providing direction to others to ensure compliance with regulations.
Specific Requirements.
Knowledge/Experience:
? Reviews forms, disclosures, and other documents to validate information and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
? Tracks compliance questions and requirements
? Closely work with underwriters for Various denial reasons and Denial codes
? Communicates with loan officers/area managers/team members to provide direction and guidance on applicable regulations.
? Knowledge of two federal laws -- the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), as implemented by Regulation B, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
? Disclosure requirements under the FCRA mandated by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act)
? Take action on the application and notify the applicant according to Regulation B's standard notice requirements
? Validates the denial codes are Accuracy of the codes
? Knowledge of underwriting policies and guidelines.

Qualification and Experience :
Graduates Degree or Above.
Minimum 2 years' Experience in Lending Functions
Knowledge of End to End Mortgage Process would be an added advantage
