: The Montessori Teacher will be responsible for teaching children aged 2.5 to 6 years. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a nurturing, child-centered environment that embraces the Montessori philosophy and promotes the holistic development of each child. The teacher will play a key role in creating an engaging, hands-on learning experience that encourages independence, curiosity, and a love for learning in young children.
Key Responsibilities:
? Implement the Montessori method to guide children through key developmental
milestones, including practical life skills, sensorial exploration, language
development, and early mathematics.
? Create a prepared classroom environment that encourages independence, self-
directed learning, and respect for the learning process.
? Observe each child's individual needs, interests, and progress, providing appropriate guidance and support to help them grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially.
? Facilitate learning through a variety of Montessori materials and activities that
promote creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
? Foster a calm, respectful, and nurturing atmosphere in the classroom, where children feel valued, safe, and free to explore their interests at their own pace.
? Maintain open and effective communication with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on the child's progress and development.
? Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure alignment with the
school's overall educational philosophy and goals.
? Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by school leadership.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Any Graduation, and Montessori trained
Experience: Previous work experience of 2+ years is preferable.
Skills:
? A deep understanding of child development and the principles of the Montessori
method.
? Empathy, patience, and a passion for early childhood education, with the ability to
connect with young children and foster a supportive learning environment.
? Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
? Strong organizational skills, with the ability to maintain a well-ordered and stimulating learning environment.
