Montessori Elementary Teacher (Science, History & English)

Location: Sholinganallur, Chennai, Vruksha International School of Montessori

What You'll Do:

Deliver engaging lessons in Science, History, or English, aligned with Montessori philosophy to children of grade 1 to 6. Introduce new concepts through individual and small group presentations. Observe, assess, and maintain daily records of each child's progress. Use a variety of strategies to meet students' academic, social, and emotional needs. Create a positive, respectful, and supportive learning environment. Communicate effectively with parents and staff. Conduct parent-teacher conferences and share developmental feedback. Ensure learning materials are safe, clean, and well-maintained. Collaborate with team members to support a cohesive school community. Contribute actively to the mission, philosophy, and values of the school.
Who We're Looking For:

Masters' degree in Science, History, English, or related disciplines. B.Ed is preferred but not mandatory At least 1 year of classroom experience, preferably in elementary education. Freshers are also welcome. Montessori Certification is a plus. Must be willing for learning/training. Engineering graduates / Professionals looking to restart their career after a gap are welcome to apply. Passion for working with children aged 6-12 years. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, passionate, enthusiastic, and collaborative mindset.
