Position: Montessori Hindi Teacher

Reporting To: Principal / Academic Coordinator

1. Position Overview

The Montessori Hindi Teacher is responsible for teaching Hindi to Montessori students using child-centred, activity-based, and phonetic learning methods. The teacher ensures a nurturing, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes language development along with overall growth of the child.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Teaching & Learning

Introduce Hindi letters, sounds, simple words, and vocabulary using Montessori materials. Conduct engaging Hindi lessons through stories, rhymes, songs, flashcards, and hands-on activities. Prepare activity-based language worksheets and teaching aids. Guide children in reading, writing, pronunciation, and conversational Hindi. Observe and record individual progress of each child.
B. Classroom Management

Maintain a calm, clean, child-friendly Montessori environment. Encourage independence, discipline, and good behaviour among students. Support children emotionally, socially, and academically.
C. Planning & Documentation

Prepare lesson plans, weekly planners, and assessments. Maintain student portfolios and progress reports. Communicate language development updates to parents regularly.
D. Safety & Child Protection

Follow all school safety protocols, hygiene practices, and child protection guidelines (POCSO compliance). Ensure vigilant supervision inside the classroom and during breaks.
E. Coordination & Professional Duties

Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and parent meetings. Collaborate with co-teachers and support staff. Assist in school events, celebrations, and cultural programs.

3. Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (preferably in Hindi / Languages). Montessori Training (AMI / IMTC / equivalent) preferred. B.Ed. in Hindi is an added advantage.
Skills Required

Strong command over Hindi language (spoken & written). Ability to teach through Montessori activities and child-centred approaches. Good communication skills in Hindi and basic English. Creativity in preparing teaching materials. Patience, empathy, and love for working with young children.

4. Experience

Minimum 1-3 years experience as a Montessori Hindi Teacher preferred.

5. Working Conditions

Full-time, school-based role. Classroom teaching + preparation time + participation in school programs

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
