Description:




The AVP (Assistant Vice President) Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), is a key member of the Community Investing and Development (CID) team, reporting to CID's Head of Community Programs and CSR India. The CID team works to enhance Citi's positive social impact through community partnerships, philanthropy and volunteerism. The AVP will work closely with the Director in delivering an M&E framework for our CSR programs in alignment with regulatory requirements and Citi's global community investing approach.

Responsibilities:



In partnership with the Director, support the design and implementation of a M&E framework for our CSR activities Identification of appropriate data collection tools and strategies Analyze qualitative and quantitative data sought quarter on quarter. Ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions Support the tracking of progress against key indicators, evaluate the effectiveness of activities, and analyze the long-term effects of CSR initiatives on communities Support the engagement with stakeholders including but not limited to collaborating with internal teams (programs, management, etc.), external partners (NGOs, government agencies), and third-party service providers to gather feedback and ensure alignment. Articulate findings, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences, including developing decks and presentations Identifying areas for improvement and recommending adjustments to ongoing projects in coordination with the team Understanding the bigger picture and aligning M&E activities with organizational goals and broader social impact objectives In partnership with the team, track and analyzing Impact Assessment reports, and reviewing the alignment of outcomes in line with those anticipated at the time of engaging in the projects Creation of briefing materials and presentations for leadership and senior management for internal and external purposes Support team-led community outreach events, including volunteer opportunities

Qualifications:



Minimum of 5 years professional experience in community development, philanthropy or social impact Subject matter knowledge and experience in India CSR policy and practice Experience in designing and implementing M&E systems, data collection tools, and evaluation methodologies is a plus. Experience supporting complex, forward-thinking partnerships and initiatives Experience in working with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams Interpersonal skills, particularly written and verbal communication, and comfort communicating with a broad range of stakeholders Capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and coordinate activities with various stakeholders. Ability to exhibit sound independent judgement Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and contribute positively to a high-energy, high-performing team environment Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills - extremely detail-oriented Excellent time management and prioritization skills with an ability to juggle competing demands Outstanding project management and organizational skills Self-starter with the capacity to work independently Highly proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education:



Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
