Engineer,Chennai REF15672L Our NielsenIQ Technology teams are working on our new Connected platform, a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure. Our clients around the world rely on NielsenIQ data and insights to innovate and grow. The software engineer will excel in applying advanced technical principles and methodologies in a particular domain of expertise. The associate should be able to solve complex problems with leading edge solutions and should be able to quickly learn and grasp new innovations in technology, as well as able to contribute to architectural concepts and design. Looking for someone experience with database technologies including PostgreSQL, MongoDB on Azure/AWS cloud. Responsibilities:- Good Knowledge about postgres architecture. Good Understanding about postgres maintenance activities. Good Experience with postgresql backup and recovery methods (pg_dump,pg_basebackup,pgbackrest). Good Experience with postgres patching and upgrade activities. Good Experience with postgres migration to azure cloud. Good Experience wtih azure postgresql single and flexible servers. oracle to postgresql migration knowledge preferred. Experienced with Azure postgres server restore. Experienced with postgresql user management. Knowledge on Devops tools (jenkins and git ). Experience in various server platforms such RHEL/Oracle, UNIX, etc., Hands on experience in the configuration and management of VMware/Azure/AWS platforms (Public/Private Cloud). Qualifications 3 to 6 year\'s hands-on experience as DBA and 2+ years on MongoDB. Understanding of enterprise application technology architecture, components, databases, networking, and infrastructure as code. Strong DBA Experience - PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Strong scripting experience - Unix/Shell Scripting, Python. Technical knowledge of Linux & Windows-based platforms. Hands-on Experience in Azure Cloud/AWS.
