Molecular Technologist

Location:

Powai, Mumbai

Working Pattern:

6 Days / Week (Sunday Off)

Key Responsibilities:

Support

NGS-based assay development,

optimization and validation under regulatory frameworks (e.g. CAP, CLIA, NABL, ISO 15189). Collaborate with pathologists, bioinformaticians and variant scientists for clinical result interpretation. Analyze raw data and maintain accurate documentation of results. Contribute to the implementation of new molecular platforms. Maintain compliance with lab SOPs, biosafety guidelines and accreditation requirements. Participate in troubleshooting, internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills: PhD in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics.

1 - 2 years of hands-on laboratory experience in molecular diagnostics, clinical genomics or assay development. Strong knowledge of NGS workflows. Experience working in

accredited lab settings

(CAP, NABL, ISO) is highly desirable. Detail-oriented, organized and capable of managing multiple priorities under deadlines.

Experience with oncology panels.

Understanding of bioinformatics tools and variant databases (e.g. IGV, ClinVar, COSMIC). Ability to contribute to SOP drafting, validation documentation and scientific publications. Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.

Pay: ₹62,500.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
