Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Moulding Quality Management:

Ensure product quality in injection moulding (LG process) operations. Maintain moulding parameters, process control sheets, and inspection standards. Supervise in-process and final inspection activities.

Process & Product Quality:

Implement SOPs, work instructions, and quality plans as per LG moulding process. Analyze and resolve moulding defects such as short shot, flash, sink mark, warpage, etc. Monitor in-process rejections and achieve rejection reduction targets.

Customer Handling:

Handle customer complaints using 8D / Why-Why analysis and ensure permanent corrective actions. Participate in quality audits and meetings with LG or other OEM customers.

Documentation & Audits:

Maintain ISO/IATF documentation such as Control Plan, FMEA, PPAP, MSA, and SPC. Prepare for and ensure compliance during internal and external audits (customer/system).

Team Management:

Train and motivate Quality Inspectors and Engineers. Promote 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Supplier Quality (if applicable):

Conduct raw material and component inspection. Monitor and evaluate supplier quality performance.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of LG injection moulding process. Expertise in plastic moulding defect analysis and troubleshooting. Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC). Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Qualification & Experience:

Qualification:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Polymer / Plastics Engineering.

Experience:

7-12 years in Injection Moulding Quality, with at least 2-3 years on LG process or similar.

Preferred Industry:

Automotive / Home Appliances / Plastic Components Manufacturing (LG process line experience preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
