About the Role

We are looking for a skilled

Mold Maker / Tool Room Technician

who can handle mold manufacturing, maintenance, assembly, and machining operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with CNC/EDM machines, mold troubleshooting, and a strong understanding of injection molding processes.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

new mold manufacturing

, including machining, die spotting, assembly, and finishing. Carry out

mold repair, modification, and maintenance

to ensure smooth production. Operate

CNC, VMC, EDM, and conventional machines

(lathe, milling, surface grinding, drilling). Interpret

engineering drawings, toolpaths, CAD models

, and technical specifications. Analyze and troubleshoot

mold defects

such as flash, short shot, burn marks, warpage, and mismatch. Work with

injection molding tools

, understanding plastic behavior, shrinkage, cooling channels, and tolerances. Manage mold fitting, insert adjustments, alignment, and precision finishing. Coordinate with production to ensure timely mold availability. Maintain 5S, safety, and tool room documentation.

Skills & Competencies Required

Strong knowledge of

Tool & Die / Injection Molding tools

Hands-on experience with

CNC / EDM / Milling / Grinding

machines Ability to read

2D drawings, GD&T

, and machining symbols Understanding of

plastic molding parameters, cooling, and shrinkage

Mold assembly, maintenance & troubleshooting skills Good analytical and problem-solving abilities Basic knowledge of software like

AutoCAD / Creo / Delcam

Qualification

Diploma in

Tool & Die / Fitter / Tool & Die Making

2-5 years of experience in Mould Manufacturing / Tool Room
