Mold Designer

Reputed Plastic Mold Manufacturing Company

Qualification: BE Mechanical / Cipet

Experience: 3.00 to 4.00 years

Location: Vadodara

Salary: 3.00 to 4.00 Lacs PA

Preferred Industries: Plastic, Automotive, Medical



Plastic injection mold design (hot runner systems) 3D CAD proficiency (Siemens NX preferred; Solid Edge/Creo acceptable) Design & development of parts, core/cavity, gating, runner, cooling & ejector systems Mold flow analysis, validation, optimization & debugging Jigs & fixtures design; support process development & production improvements Knowledge of part geometry, tolerance analysis, GD&T, plastic materials & DFM Technical documentation (2D drawings, specs, checklists) & design revisions Cross-functional collaboration to ensure manufacturability & timely project delivery
Required Skills

Siemens NX mold design expertise CAD/CAM integration for machining Strong grasp of molding principles (undercuts, ribs, wall thickness, flow) Organizational & multitasking ability
