The MOEF Officer will be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with all environmental regulations and approvals required under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) and related state/central authorities. The role requires a strong understanding of environmental clearance processes, liaisoning with regulatory bodies, and supporting project execution teams in meeting statutory obligations.
Duties: -
Handle environmental clearances (EC), CRZ clearances, and other MOEF-related approvals for real estate projects.
Prepare, submit, and track applications, reports, and documents required by MoEFCC, SEIAA, SEAC, and other authorities.
Liaise with consultants, government departments, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth approval processes.
Maintain compliance records, documentation, and timely renewals of environmental permissions.
Provide guidance to project teams on environmental compliance requirements.
Stay updated on changes in environmental laws, policies, and procedures.
Coordinate with legal and project management teams to ensure no deviation from compliance norms.
