Position Overview

The

Modular Production Supervisor

will oversee day-to-day production operations for modular furniture manufacturing at Homework Living. This role ensures that all products are produced efficiently, meet quality standards, and align with the brand's design ethos. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of modular furniture systems, and the ability to optimize workflow and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the modular furniture production team. Ensure production targets, timelines, and quality standards are consistently met. Oversee material planning, cutting, assembly, and finishing operations. Work closely with the design and quality control teams to ensure accurate execution of product specifications. Implement and maintain efficient production processes to reduce waste and increase output. Train and mentor production staff on techniques, safety protocols, and quality practices. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, hardware, and finished goods. Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and brand requirements. Maintain detailed production records and report progress to management. Coordinate maintenance and upkeep of production tools, equipment, and machinery. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Furniture Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Minimum

3-5 years of experience

in modular furniture or interior manufacturing supervision. Strong understanding of modular design systems, joinery techniques, and finishing processes. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and CAD-based design files. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
