The Modular Production Designer is responsible for designing, detailing, and coordinating the production of modular furniture such as kitchens, wardrobes, and office interiors. The role involves preparing production drawings, optimizing materials, and ensuring accurate execution as per client-approved designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed production drawings and cutting lists for modular furniture.

Coordinate with design, factory, and site teams for smooth workflow.

Work on AutoCAD / SketchUp / Cabinet Vision / 3D software for design detailing.

Ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.

Check materials, fittings, and finishes as per project requirements.

Optimize production layouts for accuracy and minimum wastage.

Supervise production progress and resolve design/technical issues.

Maintain quality standards and ensure timely delivery.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Interior Design / Architecture / Product Design / Furniture Design.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software.

Understanding of modular manufacturing processes and hardware fittings.

Strong technical drawing and detailing skills.

Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage timelines.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of modular kitchen & wardrobe systems.

Familiarity with CNC-based production or factory operations.

Experience in BOM preparation, costing, and material estimation.
