We are looking for a skilled Modular Furniture Designer to join our production design team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in modular furniture detailing, drafting, and documentation, ensuring smooth coordination between design and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed shop drawings, cutting lists, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for modular furniture projects.
Develop accurate 2D and 3D design drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Infurnia.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure precision in fabrication and installation.
Interpret interior layouts and convert concepts into manufacturable designs.
Optimize material usage and ensure timely release of production drawings.
Conduct site measurements and provide technical support during installation.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and modular furniture design software.
Strong technical knowledge of modular furniture construction, fittings, and materials.
Attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
Experience in preparing shop drawings, cutting lists, and BOMs is mandatory.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Infurnia or similar 3D design tools.
Familiarity with panel saw optimization and factory workflow.
