Modern Trade, E-commerce & Corporate Sales Manager
is responsible for driving business growth across three key sales channels--
modern trade (organized retail), online marketplaces, and corporate/B2B sales
. The role entails developing and executing strategic plans, managing key retail and corporate accounts, ensuring effective product placement and visibility, and growing revenue through targeted initiatives. This is a cross-functional role requiring coordination with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Modern Trade Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement effective sales strategies for modern trade (supermarkets, hypermarkets, retail chains).
Drive in-store promotions, visibility, and product availability to enhance brand presence and increase revenue.
Maintain strong relationships with key retail accounts and ensure compliance with trading terms and business plans.
2. E-commerce Sales Management
Develop growth strategies for online platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, and other marketplaces.
Manage listing optimization, pricing, inventory, logistics coordination, and digital campaigns in partnership with internal teams.
Track online performance metrics and recommend adjustments to boost conversions and visibility.
3. Corporate & Institutional Sales
Identify and develop B2B sales opportunities with corporate clients, institutions, and large buyers.
Build a client base for bulk or customized orders in corporate gifting, institutional sales, or trade partnerships.
Prepare and present proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and manage end-to-end account servicing.
4. Key Account Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts across all three channels.
Lead negotiations on pricing, promotions, payment terms, and service agreements.
Work on joint business plans, annual contracts, and periodic performance reviews.
5. Market & Competitor Analysis
Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, competitor pricing and campaigns across offline and online platforms.
Identify new growth areas and recommend product or channel strategies based on market dynamics.
6. Product Placement & Visibility
Ensure ideal shelf presence, planogram compliance, and visual merchandising across retail and e-commerce channels.
Coordinate with external merchandising agencies and retail partners for branding, POS displays, and activations.
7. Forecasting, Inventory & Planning
Prepare accurate sales forecasts and coordinate with supply chain for timely inventory planning.
Monitor stock levels across offline and online platforms to ensure zero stock-outs or overstocking.
8. Performance Tracking & Reporting
Monitor KPIs across all channels and prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports.
Recommend course corrections based on performance analysis, ROI, and channel health metrics.
9. Cross-functional Coordination
Collaborate with marketing on campaign planning and execution.
Liaise with logistics and warehouse teams for product distribution and order fulfillment.
Work with finance for credit control, budget planning, and claim settlements.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Education:
Graduate in Business, Marketing, or Commerce; MBA preferred.
Experience:
5-8 years in modern trade, e-commerce, or corporate sales in consumer durables, kitchen appliances, or FMCG.
Skills Required:
Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities.
Proven success in managing multiple channels and driving revenue.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making abilities.
Comfortable with fast-paced environments and cross-functional collaboration.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
