The Modern Trade Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales through organized retail and large format store chains, managing key accounts, improving product visibility, planning promotions, ensuring stock availability, and maintaining healthy business relationships with retail partners.
Key Responsibilities
Handle sales and business growth for Modern Trade retail chains such as Reliance Retail, DMart, Big Bazaar, Spencer's Retail, Metro Cash & Carry.
Manage and grow assigned key accounts, ensuring sales targets and revenue goals are achieved.
Plan and execute promotional activities, visibility drives, and product placements.
Work with category teams to list new products, negotiate commercials, and finalize trade margins.
Ensure stock and SKU availability; coordinate with supply chain and merchandising teams.
Track secondary sales, sell-through, and forecast demand for better planning.
Improve shelf share and visibility by implementing planogram and display strategies.
Monitor competition activities, schemes, pricing, and report insights.
Conduct store audits to maintain visibility, availability, expiry checks, and branding compliance.
Maintain distributor and retailer hygiene for smooth order fulfillment.
Manage documentation including gtm tracker, claims, listings, and P&L.
Build strong relationships with buyers, category managers, and store operations teams.
