Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), headquartered in Bengaluru with a satellite office in Pune, is the largest R&D center for Mercedes-Benz Group AG outside of Germany. Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and optimize system and software requirements to support robust and efficient design solutions. Design and develop functional concepts and algorithms based on defined requirements. Understand end-to-end system behavior and assess the impact of functional changes on overall system performance. Perform peer reviews of design documents, specifications, and development artifacts to ensure quality and compliance. Independently plan and execute assigned development activities as a fully contributing team member for Top End Vehicles (TEV). Apply engineering judgment to determine solutions, execute actions independently after reviews, and take ownership of outcomes. Troubleshoot production and field issues efficiently, providing timely and effective solutions. Contribute tangibly to innovation across product, process, business, and research domains, including publications and patents. Proactively propose and implement ideas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
Required Skills and Experience:

Strong experience in requirements analysis, functional design, and algorithm development. Ability to understand complex system behavior and interactions across multiple subsystems. Experience working independently with end-to-end responsibility for development tasks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on troubleshooting experience. Ability to review and assess peer technical work with a focus on quality and robustness. Good communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams. Innovative mindset with demonstrated contributions to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifikationen
Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Automotive, or a related engineering discipline.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

Experience working on premium or luxury vehicle platforms, especially Top End Vehicles (TEV). Exposure to automotive software development lifecycles and OEM development processes. Experience contributing to patents, technical papers, or innovation programs. Familiarity with Mercedes-Benz or Daimler development standards and toolchains.
