Job Summary:

The Community Mobiliser will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and enrolling eligible candidates from targeted communities into skill development training programs. The mobiliser will play a key role in promoting the training program, building relationships with community stakeholders, and ensuring effective outreach and awareness through ground-level activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct field visits in targeted areas to identify and interact with potential candidates for the training program.

Organize and participate in community mobilization activities such as door-to-door visits, community meetings, youth engagement sessions, school/college outreach, SHG meetings, etc.

Explain the benefits, eligibility criteria, and outcomes of the skill training program to community members and prospective trainees.

Liaise with local leaders, NGOs, youth clubs, and other stakeholders to gain community support and increase program visibility.

Maintain a database of interested and registered candidates with proper documentation (Aadhar, educational qualification, address proof, etc.).

Provide regular reports on mobilization activities, challenges, and progress to the project coordinator.

Support in organizing orientation sessions, registration camps, and mobilization drives.

Ensure that the mobilization process aligns with the project goals and TNSDC or government scheme guidelines.

Assist with follow-up activities, including candidate attendance, retention, and placement tracking when required.

Key Skills and Competencies

:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (local language proficiency preferred).

Networking and rapport-building skills with local stakeholders and institutions.

Self-motivated and target-oriented.

Basic data entry and documentation skills.

Experience in fieldwork/community development/social work is preferred.

Qualifications:

Minimum Any Degree in any discipline.

Prior experience in mobilization, fieldwork, or working with NGOs/CSR/Skill development projects will be an added advantage.
