Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive end-to-end test plans and test cases, covering gateway firmware, performance, and data accuracy.

Have a general understanding of how Bluetooth communication works.

Complete testing using physical power-tools, iOS and Android mobile devices, and gateways.

Perform hands-on testing using tools such as Postman, JMeter, Grafana, and database queries to validate functionality and performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.

Evaluate system performance and data accuracy, identifying potential bottlenecks and inconsistencies, including stress tests.

Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.

Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.

Generate and analyze test reports.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in software testing.



Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a QA Testing Engineer with a strong focus on end-to-end testing, including gateway firmware, performance, and data accuracy.

Experience working in a global company or corporate environment is preferred.

Experience with testing mobile Apps, APIs or embedded SW.

Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with Postman, Jmeter, DB queries and other testing tools.

Experience working with AWS services

Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Mocha, Allure, WebdriverIO, Node, Cypress, or Chai.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Tricentis)

Exposure to cloud-based applications and testing in cloud environments.





Education

Undergraduate degree (sciences, engineering or mathematics preferred) or 5 years equivalent work experience in digital technologies.

Additional digital technology certifications are a plus.
