Automation Test Engineer (Mobile)

Work Location : Trivandrum ( preferred) or Kochi

We are looking for a

Mobile Test Engineer

with strong experience in

manual mobile testing and Appium automation

to ensure the quality of a

Flutter-based mobile application

. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience testing mobile apps across platforms and be capable of designing and executing effective test strategies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform

manual testing

of mobile applications on

Android and iOS

Design, develop, and maintain

automated test scripts using Appium

Test

Flutter-based mobile applications

across multiple devices and OS versions Validate mobile app functionality, usability, performance, and compatibility Execute

smoke, regression, sanity, and end-to-end testing

Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools Validate mobile-specific features such as gestures, notifications, app lifecycle events Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test case creation Work closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues Ensure quality standards are met before release

Required Skills:

Mandatory

Strong experience in

Manual Mobile Testing

(Android & iOS) Hands-on experience with

Appium automation framework

Experience testing

Flutter mobile applications

Good understanding of

mobile app architecture and lifecycle

Expertise in creating and executing

test cases and test scenarios

Knowledge of

SDLC and STLC

Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA or similar)

Automation Skills

:
Appium with

Java / JavaScript / Python

Experience working with

real devices and emulators/simulators

Strong knowledge of

locators, XPath, and mobile UI inspection tools

Understanding of test automation best practices

Good to Have:

Basic knowledge of

API testing

(Postman / REST APIs) Experience with

CI/CD pipelines

Exposure to

cloud-based device testing platforms

(BrowserStack, Sauce Labs) Experience working in

Agile/Scrum

teams Strong analytical and debugging skills Good communication and documentation abilities Quality-focused and detail-oriented mindset Ability to work independently and collaboratively
