Job Summary

Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Development Team Lead & Architect to guide the talented development team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a profound understanding of mobile app development, backend systems, and cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for defining the technical vision, architecting scalable and compliant solutions, and steering the team to build a high-quality, secure, and robust mobile application. You will own the complete technical roadmap and ensure our platform meets the highest standards of performance, security, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA/GDPR).

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture:

Design, develop, and implement the end-to-end technical architecture for our mobile and backend platforms. Establish and champion best practices for software development, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and testing. Own the technical direction of the product, making critical decisions on technology stacks, scalability, and long-term strategy. Ensure the system is designed for high availability, performance, and scalability to support our growing user base.

Team Management & Mentorship:

Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team including Backend (Node.js), Mobile (Flutter), DevOps (GCP), and Data Engineers (Solr/Neo4j). Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular one-on-ones, provide performance feedback, and support the professional growth of your team members.

Project Execution & Delivery:

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance. Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features and product releases.

Compliance & Security:

Work closely with our Compliance & Security Officer to ensure all aspects of the application are compliant with HIPAA, GDPR, and other relevant regulations. Implement and maintain robust security measures across the infrastructure and application stack.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior software development role, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or architect position. Demonstrable experience designing and building complex, scalable, and secure mobile applications.

Technical Expertise:

Mobile Development:

Strong proficiency in

Flutter

and

Firebase

for building cross-platform mobile applications.

Backend Development:

In-depth knowledge of

Node.js

and experience with graph databases like

Neo4j

for building robust APIs and managing complex data models.

DevOps & Cloud:

Hands-on experience with

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD automation.

Data & Search:

Familiarity with search technologies like

Solr

and experience optimizing data models in

Neo4j

.

Leadership:

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate a technical team.

Collaboration:

Experience working with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. Strong understanding of agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the healthcare or another highly regulated industry. Deep understanding of HIPAA and GDPR compliance requirements. Contributions to open-source projects. Experience with automated testing frameworks for mobile and backend systems.
